La Patrona (The Big Boss - feminine tense) is a beauty. She's a 30 ft. Australian crafted Black Watch with twin Cummings engines. She's sleek and smooth and cuts through the waves at top speed. The interior boasts hardwood floors, air conditioning, a full galley and head with all amenities. All interiors designed by Tommy Bahama and true luxury at its finest.

Not just a pretty face, La Patrona is equipped with every electronic necessary to land whatever kind of fish you're looking for. Our fish finders, GPS navigational systems and radar will take you straight to your prize. If you're out for tuna or dorado, let's hook up the outriggers, load up the tuna tubes, sit back in the chair and wait for those reels to go off!! Trying for big game - like the mystical blue or black marlin? We'll get the downriggers loaded to catch anything that seems elusive below the surface. La Patrona is fully rigged for all types of big game fish from sailfish to billfish to shark. Your wish is our command.

Each La Patrona fishing charter includes two crew members - a captain and deckhand. Your captain on La Patrona is no less than Chuy Castro. Chuy comes from a long lineage of Castros that have fished the Sea of Cortez for generations. Chuy, being the youngest, combines age old techniques with new technology to bring you the best of both worlds. When it comes to knowing the waters of the East Cape, you're in no finer hands than Chuy Castro's!!!

At the end of the day, relax on the flybridge and watch the rest of the fleet race in with you. The top notch stereo system with IPOD hook-ups plays whatever your choice of music is, and has been known to swallow a few fisherman for some of "the best naps ever taken"!! Again - ask about our sleep-aboard packages for two. After a great day on the water, come back to the Bahia de Palmas and cruise around in either our Boston Whaler or Avon skiffs for a little in-shore fishing. Or - just take a wonderful sunset run up to Punta Pescadero or down to Cabo Pulmo. It's your vacation!!
