The history of the Joan Boat trilogy is definitely a family affair.  Joan Boat I fished the Atlantic Canyon of Fire Island, NY and the waters of the Northeast.  Joan Boat II moved west to the Pacific and became renowned as the winner of Mako Shark tournaments up and down the West Coast.  Joan Boat III has traveled a course set for the South.  We set our sights on the waters of the Sea of Cortez and have never looked back.  Baja California has a variety of fishing havens for all to enjoy and we hope to have you join us.

The Joan Boat III was named for my mother.  My Dad and I figured if we named the boats after her, she might let us fish more often.  (Little did she know it would become our passion and our life...)
